Kamal's Vishwaroopam – Theatre Owners Have the Last Laugh

The theatre owners and distributors seems to have had the last laugh with Kamal Haasan announcing that his Vishwaroopam will hit the silver screens prior to its DTH telecast. The Ulaga Nayagan has said that he has paid heed to the requests placed by his theatre owner friends to release the film in theatres.
Kamal will discuss with the DTH service providers today on the date of its DTH telecast and reveal the date, say sources.
The star wanted his Vishwaroopam to premiere on the DTH to let the world know that it would bring in more revenue. Unfortunately, this idea had to be put off for obvious reasons.
