No item song in Salman Khan Next - Mental

Salman is ruling the industry by drawing 100 crore bussiness very smoothly and definately some credit goes to the hot and burning item numbers in the movie.

But this time Producer/director Sohail Khan says he want to see some more seriousness in the movie 'Mental'. This may sound odd but such situations comes once in a blue moon. This time brother Sohail Khan is not going to add any song to the movie. Sohail khan declared
"There will be no item song in this movie, it's a sensible film."

In Hollywood its a normal affair but as far as Bollywood is concerned Bollywood lovers can't imagine a movie without song infact nobody can. It's something like B-town without Khans.

As Salman wrapped up his first schedule of 'Mental' (working title) in Dubai, we hear this news on the grapevineget that the movie will not have Bollywood's quintessential element - an item number.

However in India songs are like special appearence which juice up the audiences and drag them up to the big screen. Our film industry is known for its dance and music and many people do come to watch film just for one song. Music and dance is the USP of any film. This is not a new thing, it had been here since Helen's time.

Or else this may the reaction to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) that item numbers in films will be examined on a case-to-case basis, They said
" Item songs will be examined to see whether they are suitable for a 'U', 'UA', or 'A' certificate."

CBFC's clarification came in the wake of raging debate about "obscenity" in item numbers, which have now become a key feature of most commercial films.

May be Sohail Khan doesn't want to take any chances for this upcoming movie but who knows in future they will add a spicy and flaming dance number on their fans' demand.
