Salman Khan credited by Shakti Kapoor for bringing families back
Shakti Kapoor, who has worked with superstar Salman Khan in many movies including 'Andaz Apna Apna', 'Judwaa', 'Hum Saath Saath Hain', 'Jaanam Samjha Karo' and 'Chal Mere Bhai', has credited Salman Khan for bringing back the family emotions and sentiments back on the big screen.
"There used to be a lot of emotions around parents once and the audience wants it again. Himmatwala (remake) is on the same lines and Salman Khan is responsible for starting it again. In Wanted, Ready, Dabangg and Dabangg 2 you get to see emotions revolving around mother, father and brother which was missing from our films for some time."the 57-year-old said at the music launch of his upcoming film Saawariya - 'Khatu Shyam Ji Ki Amar Gatha'.
Salman has been very particular regarding his on screen image and he is only big star today who has not kissed on screen yet. Shakti Kapoor, who contested in Bigg Boss 5, was upset with Salman after the show due to the sarcastic comments by the host Salman Khan on him. Jokingly Salman quoted 'Bigg Boss ko man-na padega! Shakti Kapoor jaise logon ko apne ghar bulaya, hum toh kabhi na bulayen!'
