Salman Khan is the benchmark of humanity - Karan Johar

A session on ‘Planning and making a Rs. 1,000 crore blockbuster’ was held during the event FICCI Frames 2013 in Mumbai. The session had panelists like Greg Foster, Chairman & President, IMAX Entertainment; Vijay Singh, CEO, Fox Star, India; Siddharth Roy Kapur, MD, studios, Disney UTV; Ajay Bijli, MD, PVR; Vikram Malhotra, chief operating officer, Viacom and filmmaker Karan Johar. Post moderating the session, Karan Johar talked openly with reporters in a media conference. When asked about Salman Khan's phenomenal success, Karan stated:
"He (Salman) is the big guy, he is the big ticket. His star power goes beyond films and cinema. People go to watch his films just to see him. It is out of love that people go to see his films. He is more than a superstar. He is a benchmark of humanity" 
When Karan was asked about working with Salman, he said:
"Salman has delivered five back-to-back blockbuster films. I think everyone would like to work with Salman Khan. I would like to work with him too. It would be a dream to work with him. He was there in my first directorial venture. I have offered him quite a few films"

Salman did special role on Karan's request in his debut movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Salman also appeared in a TV show 'Lift Kara De' hosted by Karan. Now rumor mills are hot that he will star in the upcoming Dharma Production's movie to be directed by Rohit Shetty. Lets wait and watch!
