Top 5 Most Anticipated Movies of 2013 from Bollywood
2013 is going to be one of the most exciting years for Bollywood looking at the number of huge projects lined up. Here goes my list of the most awaited movies of the year purely on commercial terms. I am not considering Sohail Khan's next directorial venture with Salman Khan and Farah Khan's Happy New Year as their release dates as well as starcast is not confirmed yet.
1.) Dhoom 3: Undoubtedly it is one of the biggest franchises of Bollywood and their 2nd installment was the biggest hit of 2006. Now it has gone to another level with the inclusion of Aamir Khan as the protagonist supported by Katrina Kaif. Releasing on Christmas 2013, Dhoom 3 is expected to break all the records possible.
2.) Krrish 3: Again a huge franchise and with Rakesh Roshan as director and Hrithik as the main lead, this is the 3rd part of the series. Koi Mil Gaya was the biggest grosser of 2003 while Krrish was the 2nd biggest grosser of 2006 after Dhoom 2. The stunning look of Hrithik for the movie and a Diwali release date has raised the stakes exponentially for Krrish 3.
3.) Chennai Express: A movie starring SRK has to be in the much awaited list every year. Rohit Shetty is on a dream run with the success of Bol Bachchan, Singham and Golmaal 3. Audience will again get to see the lovely pair of SRK and Deepika Padukone after the blockbuster Om Shanti Om. SRK will be seen in full commercial zone after a long time.
4.) Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Again : This is the 3rd sequel in the list. Milan Luthria is at the peak of his career with Taxi No. 9211, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai and Dirty Picture to his credit. Most interesting aspect of the movie will be Akshay Kumar playing Dawood Ibrahim on screen. The movie will strike the cinemas globally on Eid 2013.
5.) Himmatwala : You can love or hate Sajid Khan but you cannot definitely ignore him. All of his 3 movies Heyy Babby, Housefull, Housefull 2 have proved to be huge grossers. Ajay Devgn will be seen in an out and out masala action role in the remake of this Jeetendra classic.
